Who are the neo M. L. Kings?
Who are today's King's queens?
Where are those who had archaic dreams?
Listen, shh, can you hear their screams?

They cry, "We're shamed."

They struggled and huddled.

We ecstatically revel in our void.

Arbitrary continuum of Black Codes,
Forward or backward at the crossroads?

They had a dream; we pinched them awake.
They laid the foundations, we made the earth quake.
