Heh heh........A REPOST, heh heh. Thanks sistah. A HARD LOVE For My Brothers HARD LOVE The love we have for our brothers these days is hard Sometimes it hurts US even, it's so damned hard But it's a love that can't be denied And it's a truth like, we ain't neva lied We will not, can not, refuse anylonger, to hold him up He's become too much, too sad, too heavy We've soothed him, rocked him, and given him our cup Yet still, he refuses to celebrate our example to thee Everyday we witness them open doors for the Heathers Making us to feel cheap, as they bow down before them Oh what we went through for the brothers, all the stormy weathers Makes us wanna scream and think, FORGET him But who's foolin who We can't just forget him We're his mother, his sister, his lover and his boo But I swear, we declare, our light's growing dim Yes, we carried them with ease in the past Accepted all their shortcomings with OVERstanding And now they still wanna put us last Well brother dearest, now we're UNDERstanding So, we love our brothers hard now With a love that can't be denied And if you've heard me at all, I'm assured you overstand how We say boldly, we ain't neva lied Their love ain't true as it should be Their hearts ain't touched ours just yet They're still lingering and playin free But WE ain't playin and that you can bet If you ever really lose us, you can finally say you lost Better start giving us our respect, just open a damn door If you wanna rule side by side wid us you better show the cost Cuz no other woman will ever love you more Sherose |

A Black Womans Power A man aint shit, if he aint got a job but you still down to kick it, if I share when I rob; A Black womans power, yeah I can comprehend Im just a nigga, diamonds are a girls best friend So Im pullin all-nighters, while you home gettin rest if you cant floss with yo friends, Im the source of your stress I understand you want it all, and all I can give is my best & if yo nails aint updated, Its me who failed the test. A Black womans power, teachin lessons on love only voicin material wishes, but the gifts still aint enough you want me at home, knowin my cash on the streetz compare'n me with Diddy and dem, knowin damn well I cant compete A Black womans power, every lie you detect it honestly, the only reason I kick it with dem other broads is cuz the shit I do they respect it. I try with a job, but for our lifestyles it aint enough yet Im the sole problem in the situation when Im hauled away in cuffs And the pressure of prison, guess it really aint enough you say you want to leave me now, cuz I be doin too much A Black womans power, maybe I cant comprehend on how my attempts to please you turned me into a dog in the end A Black womans power, you run this shit I hope you know it but please understand the pressure you cause on my life 'fore you blow it. |

A house divided against its self cannot stand. The value of a woman is interconnected with the value of her man. So, where must we begin to mend the burning bridges without the she's a this and he ain't that. We need to learn how to work together to regain our village back. We must change our focus to the fact that as a people we have been under attack for more than 3,000 years. It is a combination of fears and unanswered tears that has led us here. If you apply any continuous force to any fabric it will began to tare.

| I disagree Quote:
I remember writing some poems in my teen years that were politically charged.. but inaccurate..., as my knowledge and understanding expanded, i ammended them.. because poetry is life... and gives birth to thought... so when someone reads a socio-politically charged poem like this.., it needs to be accurate.. nevertheless, i respect your 16 year old intellect... i know you understand when i say, i wish more young people thought that way... i will have to look for some of your more contemporary poetry... because we all fail to understand white weakness (supremacy), what it is, and how it works, the things we think we understand only confuses us... so, i will disagree with you on the aforementioned point... the white man is totally to blame for our shituation.........

| Within our ties (When my comprehension speaks) I don't believe I've ripped you off. You're the one to be on and off : Sometimes braver the more you're soft, Sometimes meaner the less you're both. I'm not asking you to be else. I'm just demanding yourself. Can't you be what your dream sets ? A higher being with proofs of bets : You could improve your life through me, Earning topper and bluff the "g" ; Rejoicing love to enter free, No longer ruining your key. But if you need to go away And let it all go through the way, I won't be able to re-say All that but hurt aching my day... (c)TFK Men. Ladies beware of their man's drift ; but if you use your strength in that then everything goes awry : and you're drifting and your lady ain't no capable of preventing your own drift. I agree yet i disagree. Yes white supremacy in amerikkka has played in significant role in the miseducation our people yet it's our own ignorance that has HELPED to make us stagnant. So in a way, i can see how that line was both true yet vague and unclear.

Damn! Don't chall eva git tied? Tied of makin excuses? Damn! Eva time I turnaround yall makin excuses for being sorry as hell! Yeah! I said it! Sorry as hell, weak as hell, lazy as hell, bullschit as hell. Damn! What the fluck is WRONG wid yall?!! Don't chall eva git tied of the White Man runnin schit? Don't chall eva git tied of Black Women, yo momma, yo sister, yo wife, yo aunt, doing what the White Man, Massa tell'em to do?!!! Don't chall eva git tied of NOTHING??!!! What da fluck is wrong wid yall???!!! Yall jest pitiful huh? Yeah, dat's it huh? Yall jest pitiful. Yall wont folks to FEEL sorry for yall sorry azzes RIGHT? Well, you know what? You is in da wrong place right now. The Black Man and his problems have ran out I'm talkin to ALL you ladies who don't know what to do NEXT I'm talkin to ALL you ladies who don't know if you ca live without a man I'm here to RELATE to YOU that "A PIECE of a MAN" ain't No man at all Don't FALL for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stand tall, stand strong, stand sweetly, stand courageously. Don't settle, don't become LESS, don't lose your DIGNITY, your self-worth. Hold on to whatever it is that you've been holding on too. If you have to HOLD ON TO IT UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD, hold on to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sex ain't everything. SEX ain't nothing but SEX. SEX ain't got nothing to do wid LOVE. Do you have SEX with your brother? Your sister? Your father? Your mother? Well then, SEX has NOTHING to do with LOVE, does it??? Now LOVE? That's something different. LOVE is LOVE. It ain't what's called SEX. Sex is LUST. Sex is CARNAL. Sex is GAME. Sex is AIDS. Sex is FREAK. Sex is NASTY. Sex is GUILTY. Sex is UNFORGIVING. Sex is PAINFUL. Sex is REGRETFUL. Love ain't like THAT! Love is loving. Love is SPIRITUAL. Love is SERIOUS. Love is PROTECTED. Love is ROMANTIC. Love is CLEAN. Love is INNOCENT. Love is FORGIVING. Love is PLEASURABLE. Love is REMEMORABLE. Love is it's OKAY! So where does the BLACK MAN fit into all this? Heh heh. Is this a SERIOUS question? Yes it is. Why? Because the Black Man needs to overstand the DIFFERENCE betwixt the TWO. Heh heh. And this is where his problem lies. MEANING?!!!! Love is love and SEX is SEX my friend. Get the two MIXED up and you've got a REAL serious PROBLEM. Heh heh. Sherose |

| This poem jumps off of the page
This is a very poignant and heartfelt poem - the pain and anger that you felt at that time is readily apparent and helps to draw the reader in to the realness of this offering. There are several statements presented that i agree with and some that given the situation i can understand but not totally identify with. Nonetheless this was real - true and beautiful - Thank You. Seriously,sherose...you really must love the white man more than our brothers. So what's the problem? They left you because they know you're crazy,or they tried to love you and you pushed them away? Either way,you need professional help.
