Secret desires played on discordant keys
Trapped within this cycle of deceit
Stranded on the isle of emotion
Without you.
Wishes and hopes for what will not be
Wants and needs that will never be
Desires and dreams of what cannot be
Dashed against the memory.
I would die for you
My life is empty without you
My me is lost in you
My life consumed by you.
Caught-up in my obsession for you
It’s not really you, but the thought of you
It’s not real, but wisp of illusion
It’s not reality, but a deep blue
Lost in the pit of my nightmares
Lost in the sea of nothingness
Lost beside the isle of neglect
Trapped in this maze of
