Burn The Rich

Burn The Rich

In a place where decorum is in order

I begin to cry, don't ask me why
Maybe I'll try and explain

I'm hurting inside
Can't explain the pain

Then I begin to laugh, don't ask me why
Maybe I'll try and explain

This place is so funny
The faces so sunny

In a place where decorum is in order

So much brightness from an artificial light
Blue pills, martinis, all night

I'm the only one on earth who hasn't lost their mind
I didn't drink their water, no one ever has my kind

They couldn't get me through the air because I have iron lungs
They couldn't get me through the food because I have a special tongue

In a place where decorum is in order

I was just there, and they were there
Me with a big heart in a full room with no cares

We just don't fit, I yelled, "Burn the rich!"
Everybody looked at me

A red head woman in the back
Jumped on a table to look and see

I yelled, "Burn the rich!", this time with emphasis
So they would truly know what I mean
Na'Mean
I mean "Burn the rich", and everything that means

Everybody in the place began to laugh, scream and cheer
They chanted, "Burn the rich!"
Was it the martinis?
Was it the beer?

"Burn the rich!" Over and over and all through the night
Man these rich motherfuckers must be trying to play me light

I started to get mad, then it dawned on me
Asking the blind to see
Leading a horse to water
It really dawned on me ...

They would do whatever it would take
To just fit in
Make big friends
And play games for high stakes

Maybe later on in life they will repent
If it were meant
For them to see how wrong they went

But for tonight
I'm with rich motherfuckers
Chanting, "Burn the rich!"
All motherfucking night ...
