and rent is past due

still the tears in my eyes

are for the wanting of you;

sure it makes no sense

but sensibility is shamed,

every thought is your name

wanting to be with you so bad,

got me living in memory, can’t

even extract fantasy,

unable to recreate that perfection

with a touch from mere externals,

you exact/extract this love from me

like the sweet wine of summer grapes ,

so crushed ~ till all the black juices flow

how deliberate in your execution?

and the greasy words spoken to me

echoing an endless litany

in my head, my neck,

as though i have answers

to mathematical equations of

einstein proportions

my intellect is diminished

in the face of blind faith

love elicits from a place

i cannot name, a

source that is endless

in its capacity to absorb

and desire

this has never been

yet has always existed

even as consorts in

historical contexts have

perpetual connection and

spawn Deities ~

we claim ourselves heirs

of divinity to this throne,

and this cross, so we

will bear it and drink

the bitter and sweet

of our eternal

intoxicant.

blessings abound

the festival of harvest begins

with fertility rituals and

rites of passage

dancing for old men

and children sing a song

without words but

who feels it knows it
