The truth is that freedom is in the mind But your mind is in bondage Keeping your feet shackled Your hands binded Movements Stalled Sight blocked Hearing silenced Feelings stunted Thoughts locked With you potential dropped Making you putty in their hands Easily lead Fear switch flipped on with the knob snapped off Your life is no longer yours You gave to the fake dollar Emotions that you feel are lead by the Fool tube Politics got you turning tricks As you screamed you didn’t need one as they killed another black man Learning your lies in school Making them true with homework Let them shoot up your babies with viruses Going to heaven sooner with soul food And believing Amerikkka is still the place to be As they demonized you and yours again The truth is freedom is in your mind But you mind is in bondage Jalili B.
