I wrote this because of you Because I love you Because I want to know you Because you’re my daughter My sister My mother My forever love My nothing and everything Because we will meet later Get angry and part ways Because we will grow together Let down our walls stop worrying and love each other Because you’re my future And I will need you And I will fear you Fight with you Tell you I’m sorry Ready to kill, die, and live for you Hold you to a high standard Demand greatness from you Break the neck of anyone that disrespects you Because I will take you for granted Replace you with another Be hurt by that one Neglect next that comes along And then find you in some one else Just to lose you again Only to never be without you Because you will come back to me to hold me before I go To meet you again as I transition I wrote this because of you Because I love you Because I want to know you Because you’re my daughter My sister My mother My forever love My nothing and everything Because you’re my lady And I will always love you Jalili B.
