There's better ways to die Then playing the part of the fool Pulled into a “nigger moment” Fighting over food Killed over shoes Being in the wrong place at the wrong time And knowing that it was wrong before you got there Executed for a crime you didn't commit Eating yourself to 3 or 4 heart attacks Being aborted when you didn't ask for life Using toxic birth control instead of self control Killing yourself for any reason not worthy of life Cold hungry and homeless Warm greedy and pointless Being shipped off to a FEMA camp Murder because a government is afraid of the people it should work for Letting that stocker get close one too many times Driving 100 in a 30 at night with your lights off Shot by dirty cops with selective sight seeing a black gun in the hand Holding a white iPod shuffle owned by a black man Shit being black in a white nation Being bold around paranoid people Being desperate in a wealthy country Starving when other have enough to share Just being there when it all fell There's better ways to die but too many die needlessly But I'll fight to my death before I let it be me Jalili B.
