| Missed Opportunity (Letting love walk away again)
I saw you see me...with a smile That melted away with disappointment when I didn't say “Hey” Your thoughts of yourself may have have felt so many ways But it wasn't your fault of looks because you look amazing It was me having a hard time reaching for beauty Now the thing is I use the excuse fear of getting hurt Or sill missing what I had forever wishing she was still her The truth is I've been fearful like this my whole life When it clicked in my head that I wanted you too I turn rush back after I reached my destination Running with confident to find you and hope you still want to get to know me But already went away going on with your life in your world Now your just another pretty memory I let get away Haunting me wondering how it would have been with you Seeing you smile in the morning Making you laugh at night Possibly no connection what so ever Being turned off by each others minds Or the worst choice of our lives to ever speak But we will probably never know how this would have been Because I missed another opportunity When I once again let potential love walk away Jalili B. | ............Waiting on you to write some more of your beautiful words. The forum has been lacking some poetry from the FENIX for sometime now.

I know. I've been slacking. I'll have more time when I finish school.
