made my little girl soul tremble,
I'd shake by the timbre of his voice
speaking in the end....

and he was right,

I will search and find
my Beloved.
my Husband awaits me
thought he has yet to know
I'm here
I will uncover my secrets
and expose all gifts
to show him my love
He's got me wide open
and as a vessel submitting
to his every whim,
I become a waterfall
pouring out my mission
to become one with his
Our union is a bottomless gourd
overfilling with our revolutionary acts
We do more than create a village
we build a nation
I shout ASHE!
to the memory of Dr. Betty
to the legacy of a Warrior Queen
a Nation Goddess
She lives on as proof
there are Divine Brothers
amongst men
for a Sister like me
to cherish.
