Snitches are what brung down the B.P.P. and other revolutionary groups. The truth is the popo is not capable of doing their jobs without the help of snitches. It's time for them sorry bastards to do their jobs, if they actually know how. One other thing is if you got to do dirt out in the streets you got to be smart enough to get out of the area where you live and sleep.

Court to set safe room for victims and witnesses By Jonathan Saltzman, Globe Staff | January 12, 2006 Crime victims and prosecution witnesses in Suffolk County will soon have a room where they can wait before testifying so they can avoid being intimidated by supporters of defendants. The room is an initiative that high-ranking judges and the county's top prosecutor will unveil today. The judiciary is providing the office because of rising concerns about witness intimidation that are spurring state legislation to protect witnesses and new security procedures at courthouses. Too often, Conley said, witnesses wait in the corridor to testify and encounter friends or relatives of the defendant. Sometimes the defendant's supporters will glare at witnesses -- Conley called them ''stare-downs" -- or make threatening remarks. However, a criminal defense lawyer, James H. Budreau, criticized the idea of a waiting room reserved only for prosecution witnesses. Budreau, who defended an alleged street gang member, Marquis Nelson, at a 2004 murder trial in Suffolk where authorities said witness intimidation was a problem, said defense witnesses are sometimes threatened as well. ''Why are we immune to the same sort of allegations of pressure or abuse that they're suggesting their witnesses are susceptible to?" said Budreau, whose client was acquitted in a botched 2002 drive-by shooting that killed a 10-year-old girl in Roxbury. Sequestering only prosecution witnesses, he added, might convey to jurors that such witnesses are more credible than those who testify for the defense. Today's news conference comes two days after Mulligan banned anyone from entering a courthouse wearing clothing that bears the phrase ''Stop Snitching," which authorities said spectators have donned to intimidate witnesses. He also imposed strict limits on the use of cellphones in courthouses, citing recent cases in which spectators pointed mobile-phone cameras at witnesses, jurors, or law-enforcement officials. |

The stop snitching campaign to me is really some BS. If someone is terrorizing your community, killing, raping, robbing, etc.? Dont call the police? If you recommend dont calling the police, are you someone in your community who would put a bullet in the rapist or make him pay in some other way?

Stop the snitching let yt do their jobs. I am against black on black violience of any kind. A snitch is nothing more than a liar and snake in the grass that would lie on thier own mother to keep themselves out of jail.Snitches have hurt our black communities since our first contact with yt.

Would you bitch up and do nothing? Tell someone? Or hope YT does his job? If you are not going to protect your community by any means necessary kill the whole stop snitching campaign. People are so intent on picking up any cause that is so-called African, yet have no solution. If you say stop snitching you need a real solution to protect African families, period. |

No, I was thinking clearly. The reality is that the majority of people are not taking justice for the African families being terrorized. The reality is if someone comes in a persons home and attacks them, nobody is going to come in their defense and handle the situation. Lets be real here. |

I'm not speaking solely on the safety of being behind the keyboard...this is real talk. Sadly enough the vast majority does not realize the obligation of protecting the community let alone their own families. However I am a firm advocate of self protection, self policing and taking away the enabled powers of criminals in the community. In a perfect world emasculated men would not exist, people who do not honor family and community would be a distant memory but for the select few who try their best to handle family business I take my hat off to them and hope only more would stand up and stop being slouches because they don't want to mess up a fresh pair of sneakers and some name brand clothing.
