Are We (Afrikans in Amerikkka) Still "A Bill of Sales" ?

Are We (Afrikans in Amerikkka) Still "A Bill of Sales" ?

When I read this " Bill of Sales" It makes me sad and angry on two levels. One, how they treated my foreparents and two, for the most part we are still on the auction block. Read this yt document and share your thoughts with the community. Do you agree or disagree with RBG Street Scholar's assessment? If so or if not why?

A good thread to correlate this with:

Yes,brother in many ways we are still up for auction: in the corporate world - what company will take us after college, in the sports drafts - which "well bodied buck" is the best pick for the team, in the music industry - which "minstrel nigga" will sell the most records or which "video ho" will get the most rotation on BET? And the most brutal and relevant of all - prison labor. These are just a few of the ways our people are being put on auction blocks and exploited for economic gain.'

It's a damn shame, and we need to stop allowing ourselves to be victimized.

I hope more of us will get involved in this discussion as we can get a lot of mileage out of the query.
