| Would you go to war for our children?
I came across this video and I had to raise a question that many of you have probably seen me raise on multiple occasions. Sometimes I get answers which in most cases sound pleasing to the ear, but that's not satisfactory to me. The question is, "What are we willing to go to war for?" Are we willing to go to war for our children? For real... when is enough, enough? It's not enough that we raise our little sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, daughters, and sons to be strong RBG reppin, PanAfrikan warriors. What about your neighbor's children? What about that little brother you see shoplifting at the supermarket? What about that little sister in those EXTRA tight jeans? When do we return to the village mentality? Is it enough to just turn off the TV and radio in our own house holds? I know we have parents who need to be taught as well, but it is the youth that are the most impressionable. I'll tell you what. Here's a little encouragement for you. I hope this first video makes you feel so bad you're prompted to move... OK Enough of that... Now check out THESE children of the SUN and see our true potential.... Which do WE need more of?

I seen the first sad video before and felt just sick as I watched it, the only thing the little girls were taught that might be good for them was "Black is beautiful" the rest of it made me feel sick. We need more educated parents raising educated children thinking profoundly about life and not garbage.

That hurt my soul, but it is more impetus to get my workshops in Afrikan Research Methodology together for the young folks!!!

Couldn't hear the first video but what I saw was more than enough. And I completely agree. The cycle won't be broken until every Black man or woman makes a conscious effort to positively influence a child. Start at home but finish elsewhere.

Take my youth, my labors, my love, my all and do thou when I shall have died for thee, take me to thy bosom, an untamed, untamable African." -Hubert Harrison |
