Mine is the name that came to me.
Eka means "first born" in Indonesian, their motto is.
'Bhinneka Tunggal Ika' it's is Old Javanese it literally means 'Although, in pieces, yet One'.
They also like to use the term, Shiva and the Budda are sperate yet they are one.

I was given the name Majadi in a naming ceremony for children, by an Afrikan Centered Dance/Educational/Poetry group out of Youngstown, Ohio called Harambee. The elders and my comrade/brother Nnamdi (who helps moderate Runoko Rashidi's Yahoo group) gave it to me after some thought! It was a surprise to me and I am humbled to carry it, they said it represents me but also something I must live up to!

I named myself this because i feel that if you have something to say then you say it no matter how bitter it may seem to some then you say it(and backing it up of course!). Hopefully this honesty no matter how harsh it may seem will make some realize errors in ones way of thinking/preconceived/misguided notions and this in turn will be wisdom carried by that person from then on. Open discussion is the essence of progress.
