I always trip out off of people who have parents who was in the struggle because mines wasn't. My mama and daddy was (and is) in the age range of the rise of the Black Panther Party...but they didn't participate. I guess raising a family was "struggle enough" for them. Can't say the same for myself. I'ma raise my kids in the THICK of what is to come.

When I was a kid, me and my best friend had a homie named "Lil Man"...he was the BIGGEST ONE in our crew, LOL!!! He even saved me from getting my ass kicked once by fighting this older (and bigger) kid that wanted to fight me. I didn't even ask him to help me though. He saw that I was scared and then he got scared too and started crying...and he didn't know what else to do but attack the guy, LOL!!! *waxing nostalgic* Shit is alot more simpler when you're a kid.

really, Elisa is a common name in my father's village, tho I think my mama was the one that choosed it. Keisha... I tell ppl different stories about the name, lol... the truth is somebody saw it and liked it and it was adopted as my "nickname", but the story it carries come after, not before....it just fits me right (it means "Her Life")

By the way, Marvena... it was given to me by my godmother Aziza (some of u know her) It means "child of two planets" its an Anguilla name (caribbean).

I got the idea for my username from my ex-girlfriend. Me and her both have a couple of tattoos. One day she told me that her next tattoo was gonna say "Rebel Black" and that she was gonna get it on her stomach. When I received my Holy Name - Hala Amala (arabic, which means Glorious Hope) I added the last name to Tyree, hence Tyree Amala.
