So many interesting usernames!!! What does your usernames mean??? Why did you choose them???

I got the idea for my username from my ex-girlfriend. Me and her both have a couple of tattoos. One day she told me that her next tattoo was gonna say "Rebel Black" and that she was gonna get it on her stomach. I asked her why she was gonna get that and she looked at me like I was crazy and said "cuz I'm a muthf***** REBEL BLACK" (LOL)!!! For me, "Rebel Black" translated to "rebelafrika" (lowercase, because I as an "individual" am not important enough to be capitalized). That's my story

to your q, tho; my username flows with the territory... baba and shaykh connates similar meanings... my friends gave me baba, one meaning of shaykh is old man w/many children; another meaning is one with supreme knowledge, more often spiritual knowledge in a particular area.

ahmed (ahmad) is part of name the little Shaykh that Malcolm X brought with him in his return from Egypt in 1964, who named me after the heroic Muhammad Ahmad the Sudanese Mahdi who lead the chasiing of British General Gordon to get hat up out of the Sudan.

I really couldn't think of a username that would suit me, so i just closed my eyes and typed the first thing i saw; a movie theater emergency exit sign.

I do not doubt your information about capitalizations and lowercases. It is very remenisent of what I have come to know as "Moorish Science" (at least...matters like these are what my homies who are "Moors" have put me up on). You know I was refering to the lowercase in my "username" and not my "proper name" though, right?

But my info re caps, not from Moors tho I've heard it from them too and i'm guess'n re entire name in caps; for the last name on birth certificate is usually done by Mama who generally ain't up with that...

I wasn't; ours' were born at home, but I signed a few and my wife signed a couple. I'm just too lazy to correct that stuff, so much else is happening

My name is very obvious, though many assume that it stands for Haiti Anna. My name is not Anna...lol Haitianna is simply the feminine of Haitian, in spanish. :wink:
