| AKRADIN ABOSOM - Soul-name Deities
Mikyia mo (Greetings): We have recently posted the entire 13-page article on our website: AKRADINBOSOM Ofa a edi Kan, Part 1 AWUSI This article can also be found in the recently released fourth issue of our: AFURAKA/AFURAITKAIT Nanasom Nhoma Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religion Journal There are many individuals in the Akan community, initiated akomfo (priests/esses) as well as uninitiated, who are not aware of or who have been misinformed about the fact that our akradin (soul-names or "day names"), such as Kwesi, Adwoa, Abenaa, etc. are based on the reality that we are named after ABOSOM (Deities). There are seven major ABOSOM that govern the solar, lunar and planetary bodies that govern the 7-day Akan week. This article is part of a seven-part series which will detail the major attributes of each of These 7 major ABOSOM. This first article in the series (re)-introduces the Obosom: AWUSI Those who are Yoruba, Igbo, Ewe, Fon, Dogon as well as all other Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans~Black People) will benefit from the information as well, being that Awusi is a Divinity that we all worship by different but similar names in our various Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) traditions. Some of those traditions are identified in the article, including the Ancestral traditions of Keneset and Kamit (Nubia and Egypt). Download here: http://www.odwirafo.com/Akradinbosom...e_Nhomawaa.pdf This article can also be found on the NANASOM and NHWEHWEMU pages on our site: AFURAKA/AFURAITKAIT NANASOM NHOMA NHWEHWEMU Ma asomdwoee-Hetep (Peace)....
