It's just a form of spiritual possession. Spirits know no religion they just possess you when you are in a strong spiritual state the religion at that point is meaningless.

Jesus spoke Amharic. Amharic (አማርኛ amarəńńa) is a Semitic language spoken in North Central Ethiopia by the Amhara. The Amhara (Amharic: አማራ, Ge'ez: አምሐራ) people are an ethnic group in the central highlands of Ethiopia. Numbering about 19.8 million people, they comprise 26 percent of the country's population, according to the 2007 national census. They speak Amharic, the working language of the federal authorities of Ethiopia, and dominate the country's political and economic life. Amharic, It is the second most spoken Semitic language in the world, after Arabic, and the official working language of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Thus, it has official status and is used nationwide. Amharic is also the official or working language of several of the states within the federal system, including the Amhara Region and the multi-ethnic Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's Region, among others. It has been the working language of government, the military, and of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church throughout modern times. Outside Ethiopia, Amharic is the language of some 2.7 million emigrants (notably in Egypt, Israel, and Sweden). It is written, with some adaptations, with the Ge'ez abugida (first used for the language of the same name)—called, in Ethiopian Semitic languages, ፊደል fidel ("alphabet", "letter," or "character") and አቡጊዳ abugida (from the first four Ethiopic letters in Greek order, also giving rise to the modern linguistic term abugida). Due to economic, political and some natural causes, the Amharic language has also been influenced by neighboring languages like Afaan Oromo, while some Afaan Oromo words—like gosa, buna, baqila, dinnicha—have integrated into Amharic vocabulary over time. Etymology The derivation of the name "Amhara" is debated; according to some it comes from the word amari, meaning "pleasing, agreeable, beautiful and gracious" (also mehare, "gracious", containing the same m-h-r root as the verb to learn), while some Ethiopian historians such as Getachew Mekonnen Hasen say it is an ethnic name connected withHimyarites. Still others say that it derives from Ge'ez, meaning "free people" (i.e. from Ge'ez ዓም "ʿam" meaning "people," and ሓራ "h.ara" , meaning "free" or "soldier"), though others, such as Donald Levine, have dismissed this as a folk etymology.Ultimately, however, the name for the language and ethnic group came from the medieval province of Amhara, located in central Ethiopia in modern Amhara Region and the pre-1995 province of Wollo. Himyarite Kingdom
Do you mean a "specific" language like arabic, Gee'z, Amhara. This is the language the Prophets communicated to Allah. Islam: Ethiopia's last gift from GOD John G Jackson in Ethiopia and the Origin of Civilization notes on page 8 ..... ...."In modern geography the name Ethiopia is confined to the country known as Abyssinia, an extensive territory in East Africa. In ancient times Ethiopia extended over vast domains in both Africa and Asia. In the History of Ethiopia, Vol. 1. by Sir E.A Wallis Budge notes that, "Homer and Herodotos call all the "peoples of the Sudan, Egypt, Arabia, Palestine and Western Asia and India, Ethiopians". The vestiges of this early civilization have been found in Nubia, the Egyptian Sudan, West Africa, Egypt, Mashonaland, India, Persia, Mesopotamia, Arabia, South America, Central America, Mexico, and United States. ![]() ![]() Peace be upon you

It is considered a gift by many. Depending on what circle it's mentioned in, some call it (among other things) "speaking in tongues". Some call it "speaking from the belly". What do you consider speaking in tongues, GoddessTbaby? Can you describe it? I'm just asking to be more clear about what it is you are asking. |
