the central image in the chinese diagram more is directly related to this yoruba elements chart, placing Elegba at the center, Shango with the element fire, Ogun with earth, Yemoja with water, etc.

the article in this thread discusses the connection between the yoruba, kmt, and chinese:

WOW neva seen that image b4. go head C!

Who influenced who: Both. Afrikan people have done so many migrations all over the world at different time periods. The Yoruba migrated out of Kmt, the people of Kmt migrated from Ethiopia and even further down South. The wisdom of Kmt was the knowledge of all the migrations of Afrikan civilizations that came b4 it. During its time that knowledge was spread even further. As Kmt was continuously invaded, we then migrated away from Kemet to different areas- such as West Afrika, taking those sciences with us.

But I am no expert. Anyone with more info. please feel free to add on to this.

The Tree of Life can't be attributed to any one part of Afrika "first" although we know it was used and perfected there before the Middle East, Europe or Asia.

For those that read Twi, you will notice a number of Ghanian writers, mostly elders have written some obsure books on the Akan-Kemetic connection. There is already plenty of info about how the Yoruba Priest and Kemetic Priests traded spiritual science.

The most probable answer is that while one culture probably introduced it, more than one worked to create the "final product" although in spirituality is ENTIRELY possible that the Tree of Life model was simulataneously introduced by the Black Gods of Afrika to MULTIPLE communities (tribes) as because of this similiarity they took this as a sign from the Black Gods of Afrika to work together in ritual and philosophical pursuits.
