• I pray for the nearly 700 hundred family members that have died to date in Haiti as a result of Tropical Storm Jeanne.
• I pray for those that are without home
• I pray for children without parents, and parents without children.
• I pray that social justice overcome corruption in Haiti
• I pray that those that can give assistance actually do so.
• I pray for abundance and healing

Khoi are the original inhabitants of South Africa. When I was in school I took an S. African history class and used to get these powerful dreams at night about S. African elders that were very disturbed about how their general history and that of Shaka Zulu was being relayed by modern historians. They did not at that time consider Shaka to be killing haphazardly. Many elders understood that he was preparing africans for their first exposure to european warfare. He wasnt just building a kingdom for himself. Maybe I can go into more detail later for anyone that doesnt understand this.

But the jest of those dreams is a pact I made to never be tied to a book in totality. That many African cultures were misrepresented in books and that we have to maintain a link to the ancestors so they can help us process what we are reading....

May I be a medicine for the sick and weary, nursing them until their afflictions are gone forever.
