Examining the Most Popular Threads

I think that it is important to examine the most popular threads on this website. If we do we will find that many of them that are provocative and entertaining get a lot comments. Those that speak of growth, solidarity and the practical ways to battle oppression and depression don't get much play. The only comment I have is that I find it very interesting. You can explore my comments and opinions more at the following link: http://www.4shared.com/file/18754357..._Complete.html - July 1 2007 Complete.mp3

Where I talk about what it means to celebrate the 4th of July every year as a black person in the U.S.

The topics that speak of growth and ways to battle opression are normally articles. I read many of them but what can I say? How hurt and angry I am? I follow the url, read what's their and reflect. I can't say much about a young man being murdered in Spain because its a reminder that evil is everywhere. I read enough books to know this. As a matter of fact, many times I become frustrated with the harsh realties, and I welcome a opinion. In my African American course, no room for conversation. In my organization, no room for tak, chatter it all real.

The ones that are entertaining I can answer because many times it is an opinion. What? WHere? How? WHy? WHen? These are all things that I can answer.

I am not justifying anything.

I listened to your recording and found that you say many of the same things that are discussed on this site as well as other pro-black sites.

I have not read anything about the tunnels under Ben Franklin's house in Philly, although I am aware of the recent discovery. I am a native of P-H-I-L-L-Y.

As far as the Ashanti king being a traitor to his people, this spirit has been with the black race for years. Ask the Indians about the Buffalo Soldiers, ask the Vietnamese about us in the War, ask the Mexicans about us, and the Iraqies about us black folks. When ever we believe the liars are going to uphold a promise to us, we will shed blood for them.

Which is why, I agree with many things Farrakhan says.
