| Mathematic support for Africans involved in self education and home schooling
In response to a request from Africans who are deeply involved in the home schooling movement, we have constructed a mathematics support page on the Pan-African Perspective web site. These pages focus on four areas: algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus. We introduce each area briefly, and put it in a short African historical context. The site also offers links on the web that provide direct support in the various areas. You can reach the mathematics page two ways, either by way of the Pan-African Perspective home page at: http://www.panafricanperspective.com If you use this method, find the column under Nkrumah's picture labeled "What's Happening" and scroll down to the link labeled "Mathematics" and click or go directly to the mathematics section at: http://www.panafricanperspective.com/math/index.html Roy Walker |

This is a good thing one of my major complaints with Our Educators (famous one anyways) is that there is an extreme lack of focus on scholastic subjects such as Math (numbers, logical, computers, etc), Science (physic, chemistry, biology, etc), and even Language. History is the only subject that is thoroughly covered commonly. Asante Sana for this!
