We first must understand that military power is a function, a subsystem of political power...military action is a form of political power, revolutionary military action can only come under the direction of revolutionary political power, hence the prerequisite is the establishment of a government that will unite the African world...this will solve the military problem, because such a government includes a continental professional armed forces of every necessary type and popular militias and units that operate down to the block level...the union government is also an absolute necessity for our collective and individual economic wellbeing...let me give you an example, in a short hand explanation of teh Pan-Africanist approach to the global market
"We are certainly not against marketing and trading. On the contrary, we are for a widening of our potentialities in these spheres, and we are convinced that we shall be able to adjust the balance in our favor only by developing an agriculture attuned to our needs and supporting it with a rapidly increasing industrialization that will break the neo-colonialist pattern which at present operates.
"A continent like Africa, however much it increases its agricultural output, will not benefit unless it is sufficiently politically and economically united to force the developed world to pay it a fair price for its cash crops..."
Kwame Nkrumah
p 9, from "Neocolonialism: The Last Stage of Imperialism"
If we apply this to all our commodities and other marketable items across the world, including our labor where expeditious, we would soon have a teeming African world empire dedicated to good... just think about it... but we can only get there by understanding our history and moving accordingly. That is go the route advocated by the African revolution...a union government that can will the continental and globe war and liberate Africa and Africans...is it only then, under the planning, funding, training, directing, and so on of a Union Government working for all Africans everywhere, will Africans in the world have power. That is Black Power.
It is only with a union government, the highest level of political unity, envisioned by Pan-Africanists from Garvey, DuBois, Malcolm, Kwame Ture to Toure and Nkrumah, will we have created the necessary political (that includes military and diplomatic forces...as well as administration of the nation's affair) prerequisite for the kind of macro-economic (large scale aggregate) prosperity appropriate for ourselves at the common-aggregated level...the kind of Africa and world our people want and know they deserve.
This macro-economic circumstance leads to micro-economic (individual Africans, individual African economic enterprises agencies) prosperity which together with the change in our macro-economic circumstance leads to exponentially improved quality and productivity of / in African mezzo-economic system (that is the many subsystems that effect how we work and produce, the techniques, methods, training and general disposition of the human factors involved in the work, available technology and other factors of production).
Improvement at the mezzo level of the economy is then reflected in further positive gains at the macro and micro level.
Only a politically conscious army can liberate the enslaved African world.
