Kwame Nkrumah has given us an excellent metric for determining unity, as he wrote several decades ago, "The central idea is as follows: if there are two expressions such that precisely the same consequences follow from the conjunction of the first with any other proposition as follow from the conjunction of the second with the same proposition, then the two expressions are identical in meaning." Nkrumah, Consciencism, Ch. 4
That is if two realities create the same identical result in relationship to a third reality, we have identity of meaning, they mean the same thing. Let us say that the indigenous peoples of Africa and of the Americas both developed essentially identical ideological and programatic responses to the power groups among the Europeans dominating the globe, at the same time, relatively independent of each other -- it would crush and eradicate that European power and usher in the era of Black Power and the return of the red road. This is an example of unity that has been evolving in the world since the European invasions of the west and Africa and the wars waged against the two peoples of the two continents. This is why Rice, and her masters are attacking Chavez and Venezuela, why they are attacking Africa, attacking, Bolivia, indigenous movements such as the Zapatistas and so forth....white power knows how vulnerable it really is...that is precisely why the US is stuck in a no-win situation in the Middle East and the world generally...
We want unity with our colleagues fighting the insane monsters who torment and murder all of us, but that is not the same as saying that we do not insist in our separate and completely independent national and cultural identity as African people...and that is why our primary aim our sole objective is the United States of Africa and we are not interested in pursuing anything else.
