THE COMMUNITY COUNCIL OF ELDERS
WHY: TO DISCUSS THE AFRICAN UNION'S 6TH REGION DIASPORA INITIATIVE AND OPEN NOMINATIONS FOR THE ELECTION OF TEXAS' AFRICAN DIASPORA REPRESENTATIVES TO THE AFRICAN UNION

Ras Nathaniel Blake, Director of the AU 6th Region Education Campaign will give an update on the international election process that is already underway and explain the Eligibility Requirements for African Diaspora Representation as contained in the Statues of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council of the African Union. He will be the guest on KPFT Pacifica Radio this Thursday night, April 12th at 10:30 pm.
Black people in Texas, like all other states, must call a town hall meeting, elect its representatives and prepare them for the AU Sub-Regional Cuacus USA in Septemeber and the African Diaspora meeting scheduled for October in South Africa. By December 2007, 20 representatives from the entire African Diaspora must be ready to take their seats with the Economic, Social and Cultural Council of the African Union.
