| China & America's "Economic War" in Africa
China and America are quietly engaged in a silent, but lethal “economic-war”. America is fighting against China because China is a stronghold government that is anti-American. Recently, china was in the American news after American beef was denied exportation. The beef industry has suffered enormous financial losses that have had an impact on the American image, and leaving Americans with an unusable surplus of beef that will go to waste. (Anyone noticed the price of beef lately is cheaper?) Why exactly did china refuse this import beef? Because the Chinese government is concerned about Mad Cow.. and other health issues that effect the Chinese people. But, didn’t the government of china already know these health risks? Of course they did! Since China has struck a blow at the America reputation and economic interests, America has struck back, by bombarding the American people with anti-chinese propaganda. How does this health-war affect Blacks People in America and Internationally? In Africa, Dafur, a western country in Sudan, Africa, there is a giant oil reserve under the land. this poverty-stricken nation, is being launched into the international media as a “rich resource” nation that is larger than most European nations. Chevron, and other American corporations have begun to plant drilling sites in Dafur to drill out its “black blood” but there is a hitch…, China had already been in Dafur and had invested billions of dollars in the oil interests. According to the CFR, Council on Foreign Relations— China's voracious demand for energy to feed its booming economy has led it to seek oil supplies from African countries including Sudan, Chad, Nigeria, Angola, Algeria, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, and the Republic of Congo. The U.S. Energy Information Administration says China accounted for 40 percent of total growth in global demand for oil in the last four years; in 2003, it surpassed Japan as the world's second-largest oil consumer, after the United States. In the first ten months of 2005, Chinese official sources say, Chinese companies invested a total of $175 million in African countries, primarily on oil exploration projects and infrastructure. On January 9, state-owned Chinese energy company CNOOC Ltd. announced it would buy a 45 percent stake in an offshore oil field in Nigeria for $2.27 billion. China already has a significant presence in many African countries, notably Sudan: China takes 64 percent of Sudan's oil exports. "China is very deeply engaged in exploiting Africa's oil resources," says Elizabeth Economy, C.V. Starr Senior Fellow and Director for Asia Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations China is now the biggest oil exporter in that nation. Bigger than America… America’s reply to this is to sanction the dafur government in an attempt to pressure them to move china out of that country under the guise that the Dafur government allows genocide to continue in its nation. But it is these same UN sanctions that have been imposed (and supported by American allies (Britain), that enhance the violence as people fight to find political stability. While these sanctions are occurring, the poor people of Dafur, who are not being hired by any of the companies that have descended on them, are suffering miserably. After Korea, and Afghanistan, America is going to look to conquer China by over powering it with world support and negative propaganda. China, in return will become Cuba (again)...barring existing and potential American interests from doing business there. The bottom line, America already knew about the sub-par products that China was exporting to the United States, but because China was such a good paying customer on exporting taxes and “palm-greasing” none of these facts came to light until China’s issues with beef began to have negative impact on the American economy and its beef. Very simply, America is punishing the Chinese by blitzing them in the media with “newly discovered” facts of their inferior products; and all the while playing on the dependable fears of the American people by saying “any and everything” from China will make Americans sick. Fear is the American government’s favorite and most easily deployable tactic to justify their actions. It is difficult to know just how many products are exported from China to America and American-allied countries, but what is known, is America and American-allied countries have always known of these sub-par disease causing products, but did nothing about it, because at the time, china was not a threat to the US or their friends. With China suffering financially, certain holdings, (such as the investments in Darfur, might suffer, giving American and allied corporations the upper hand they need to “hostilely take-over” the pre-existing Chinese infrastructure which will also have to be left in place. This is the nature of the American Corporations and the government which has always been for sale to the highest bidder. I’ve outlined two youtube videos to show what is happening BEFORE it becomes news to us.. (We always get the news late, last, and as it is no longer relevant.
