| Unity part 2 Unity part 2
The peoples' organizations have to constantly seek ways to function more efficiently as conduits for useful information. Information that is derived from our peoples' collective experience and work in the many fields of endeavor that we are involved in, and thus part of that work has to be the collection, collating, presentation and analysis of data, statistics and facts pertaining to those activities.
The people, if we are going to move forward, have to be able to use this information to properly assess the various processes that drive our actions and help us build brick and mortar organizations and movement that are more successful than their predecessors. We want to avoid a situation where each generation has to make the same mistake that previous generations have made; to needlessly cover the same ground that prior generations have traversed. Hence, we are constantly looking to identify process reengineering opportunities that will improve this overall information flow and deployment process.
Our "real" organizations, and by that I mean all the organizations that are against the oppressor and for the people, must be in dialog and discussion with each other; and participate in joint activities with each other; if they are going to be relevant to the peoples' needs, tasks, actions, responsibilities, tactics, strategies, goals; and objective -- that is total and uncompromised freedom. This is done most effectively if we can draw on the experiences and expertise of each and every one of the members of the various contemporary groups; and at the same time use history to demonstrate the strengths and weaknesses of past and contemporary formations, both for and against us. There is certainly much we can learn from the UNIA that is constructive; there is certainly much we can learn from new formations also; likewise, there is certainly much we can learn from the study of our adversary's organizations, past, as well as present; about how they operate, what are their goals and so forth. These we have to do better, so that we can help each other apply what we learn to the real-world.
To suceed in our self-liberation, we are obliged to become even more systematic and more systemic in our efforts to construct functional unity; that is principled unity, not unity just for the sake of being able to say that we have unity. We must have unity that is against those that are against us, and unity that is for those that are for us. This sounds simple enough doesn't it?
So let us renew our efforts to pitch in where ever and when ever we can to help our people create this much needed, and long overdue, unity.
