I don't know about everyone else, but I grew up loving my granny's turkey dressing, just luved it, but now that I dont eat meat, I cant enjoy it anymore

So here it goes....
Jefani at her best..
VEGETARIAN STUFFING
1 Loaf of wheat bread
1 Loaf of cornbread (preferbly home made)
*check below for recipe*
1 Green pepper
1 Onion
2 stalks celery
3-4 Mushrooms
2-4 Cloves Garlic
1-2 tsp.Sage
2 - Tbsp. No Chicken bouillion paste (Vegetarian bouillion is good also)
Olive or Canola oil
1 Tbsp. Butter
2-4 Cups Water
*Season to taste, I use a variety of seasonings and spices when I cook)
Prepare your cornbread and set to the side. Toast the pieces of the bread and set to the side. After cornbread and toast have cooled, crumble both into pieces and put in a mix bowl. Finely chop the oninons, green peppers and celery and add it to the bread mix. Add the sage. Set aside. In another pot add oil, butter and garlic and sautee for about 10 minutes on a medium heat. Stir the bouillion paste and add the water. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes. You can add salt (I prefer Vege Sal), black pepper, lemon pepper, parsley, basil or whatever seasoning you like at this time. Pour the liquid into the bowl with the bread mix. It is totally up to you if you whether you want a firm or loose consistency. Bake for 15-40 minutes, and VOILA u have it...
