Thumbs up To all my Graduates from the Class of 2006!!! (and all graduates in general)

To all my Graduates from the Class of 2006!!! (and all graduates in general)

I just want to say congratulations to the class of 2006!!! Graduating from an institution of amerikkkan imperialism may not seem like a big deal to you, but it is truely an accomplishment!!! I also however want to remind you of your historic obligation and responsibilty for your people, because you did not get to where you are at by yourself, and not even by the help of your immediate family and friends. It was by much more. It was by the blood, sweat and tears of your people!!! They fought for you to get where you are at so that you could in-turn, use what you aquired for the liberation of our people!!! The amerikkkan so-called "educational" system "generally" doesn't want Africans to get through, and for the very few Africans that do get through, the amerikkkan so-called "educational" system wants you to be so "braindirtied" that you only serve THEIR intrests as the "middle-man" or neo-colonial agent or house n****. Keep this in mind as you transcend through class realities...whether it be from high school to higher education or from the intelligencia to the working class. Some people will try to discredit or diminish your accomplishment. Africa (and African people) need more doctors, lawyers, scientists, engineers, mathematicians, etc. who are committed to Africa and her children everywhere in the world. This so-called "educational" system may not be the "ideal" educational system for Africans, but if you were able to extract ANYTHING of use out of it, that can be used for the liberation of our people, then I say your effort was worthwhile. Again, I want to congratulate you all and tell you all how proud of you I am and invite you all to take our struggle to the next level.

Your brother in struggle,
rA

i have such deep admiration for students, i definitely want to give y'all much props and nuff respect for all you've suffered through. i useta type student papers (not being a good student myself) but struggled through each course with many a student up to their final thesis which we would work and re-work and re-work everytime a prof. would mark it up.

i know y'all been through the wringer and i salute you and ditto all that Bro. R.A. states below, use what you got for da people and don't become corporate fodder!

I just got an email from the School President saying because of NJ budget cuts and the effect it has on the school budget there will be no winter commencement. Meaning, i wont' be able to walk and get my diploma(graduation ceremony) when i complete my degree this fall, but will have to wait until June if i want to walk! Isn't that some BS?! OMG.

There has to be something i can do.

On paper they are graduates...but they gotta wait until the Spring to do the whole "ceremony" thing. And if you was graduating in the Summer...guess what? You can do the whole ceremony thing in the Spring (BEFORE you actually graduate...along with everybody else that actually IS graduating)...but you're not a graduate as far as your paperwork is concerned (so you can't apply for a job on the basis of having a degree, because when they check your paperwork...they gonna see). And I know a FEW people who did the whole ceremony thing...and NEVER finished the last couple of classes that they was supposed to do in the Summer. So to their family, they "APPEAR" to be graduates...but they still got a course or two (or even three) to go. But the coldest part is that while they are SOOOOOOOOOOO CLOSE to finishing...THEY DON'T EVEN REALLY CARE ABOUT FINISHING...because THEIR FAMILY SAW THEM WALK ACROSS THAT STAGE AND THATS ALL THAT REALLY COUNTS TO THEM!!! LOL!!!
