| Youth Leadership Summer School!
The Brotherhood/ Sister Sol's* LIBERATION PROGRAM announces its ninth year of seeking Black and Latina/o youth leaders, ages 14-18 committed to creating change in their communities. LP Mission Statement: Our goal is to develop a cadre of revolutionary youth who will battle against all forms oppression. As youth, we must work collectively to rise above the destructively negativity in society and free our communities. We refuse to find bliss in ignorance - we will continually educate ourselves and struggle against injustice until we are no longer victims of oppression, but threats to its continued existence! Join this year's Summer Liberation School! HOW IT WILL FLOW: 1. Application & Interview with candidates 2. Selection & Orientation 3. Four-week intensive training from August 4-29 4. Honorarium to participants who successfully complete SLS 5. Graduates of SLS become members of the Liberation Collective 6.
