We won't shoot you because you are an Afrikan. The month of February is really intended for the zombies. On this forum board we have black history every day! Not just one short month. Its all good though. I can not down the zombies for trying to awaken their minds for one short month out of the whole year. Uhuru!

Has anyone (those who know Our history) noticed that majority (in some cases all) people learned about during Black History Month are/were Toms or are talked about exclusively in there Tom'in' days?

"Cowardice asks the question: is it safe? Expediency asks the question: is it political? Vanity asks the question: is it popular? But conscience asks the question: is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor political, nor popular - but one must take it simply because it is right."

Yeah. Mostly toms, entertainers and athletes. Never scientists, conscious scholars, or freedom fighters.Originally Posted by Im The Truth

NO attention is payed to Africans in the Carribean and Latin Americas, Africans in Asia, Africans in europe, the Aboriginals of Austrailia and surrounding areas, or ESPECIALLY...Africans in AFRICA! I have even observed efforts by some to change "Black" history month into "African-AMERIKKKAN" history month. How sick is that? If you don't want to call it "African" history month, then fine...but "African-amerikkkan" history month is going in reverse!!! It removes all contact with the diaspora from the equation. "African-amerikkkan" history month makes "amerikkka" the dominant aspect of our history. If you are going to call African History Month "African-amerikkkan history month"...you might as well drop the "African" out of it and call it what it is that you REALLY want to acknowledge..."amerikkkkan" history.Originally Posted by rebelAfrika
