Homemade Study Questions from African-American Odyssey, The Volume 1

Questions I've been journaling from African-American Odyssey Vol.1 from BLAS 140A - U.S. History from a Black Perspective

pg. 139 After the first 3 of 12 generations of chained slavery by 1864, *(using 20-35 year old timeline from 1500-to 1864) is it reasonable to assume Africans who outnumbered there wardens on the plantations was due to torture and not of there forteiting there conditions of resistance?

pg. 138 Was the Slave population growth from the Atlantic to Texas attributed to forced breeding or importation?

pg. 137 Solomon Northup was said to had escaped after 1841 and was held for 12 years. What year was the importation and exportation of slaves considered illegal in the constitution?

pg. 136 What means of "coping" with oppression did/do Africans use?

Is a "appeasement" a form of coping?

Where there any "psychological impairments" due to slavery? if not explain. If so how are they being dealt with in Modern medicine, ie. Clinical Psychology?
